The big dog Sally is standing outside of is actually a motel
room, believe it or not, but Sal says it has no A/C or TV ~ real
enticements to spend the night in a place that can get in the
90s during the summer. Whoever runs this place loves kitschy
wooden carved dogs, cats, and people. Even the lunch box and
thermos are carvings. I think Jean was sharing a carved sandwich
with Igor or whatever his name is.
