Detour Details
What is it?:
"Where am I heading? To Bena
to see the fish shaped restaurant, of course. It's part of the Big
Girl, Big Stuff Tour. "
Yes, I (Cat) lost my
"virginity" on this trip. I speed all the time, but this
was the first time I've been pulled over by a state trooper for
such.
The trooper was awfully cute and
smiley and even wrote down the website address from our panel
magnet so that he could see the site. He questioned as to why we
didn't have Paul Bunyan & Babe the Blue ox on the magnet. I
assured him that the photos were on the site from last year. He
seemed pleased.
He consented to the photo above
as long as I didn't post his name. Boy, he's lucky I shrunk down
the photo 'cuz his badge is very legible on the full
size.
OH, I should mention, I just got
off with a warning. Either he was in a good mood or the whole
silly topic of our tour made him giggle enough to let me off.
