You can't tell from the photo, but Big Ole sits in the middle of the street so you get a view of all the traffic in downtown Alexandria (and they get a good view of you!) from this platform. If you go, be careful, the stairs are so rickety that we almost didn't make it down off this one. Another "proud to be a Norwegian" stop.
